Das Summer Release 2018 von "Claxtons's - The Single Cask" kommt unter dem Motto "Vibrant Whiskies Perfect for Summer" auf den deutschen Markt. Wie immer handelt es sich um Einzelfassabfüllungen, welche weder gefärbt noch kühlgefiltert sind. Ebenso ist jeder Whisky in Fassstärke abgefüllt worden.
Als deutscher Importeuer für Claxton's freut sich Pinkernells Whisky Market Berlin, diese fünf Abfüllungen ab sofort im Groß- und Einzelhandel anbieten zu können.

Nose: Assertive Sherry notes,
wood polish, bitter orange and pine resin wrapped up in apricot jam and apple sauce.
Palate: Savoury and dry. Candied orange
peel, almonds and mild sandal wood giving the palate a vivacious profile.
Finish: Long. Flavours develop more sweetness with soft cooked apples, bubble gum with a trace of aniseed.

Finish: Long, subtle and varied. Beef jerky, dried tobacco leaves, sweet custard and marmalade.

Finish: Very lengthy and smoky. Hints of mezcal with sooty peat and lingering, soft TCP.
